Aqua-Rando Half-Day

We access the edge of the Verdon via a short walk (5 mins). The guide will then give you instructions on how to progress through the gorge. We enter the water, then let ourselves be carried by the current, by floating and swimming. We only get out of the water to go around an obstacle (a rapid that is blocked or shallow).
We are thus committed between the impressive walls of Samson's Corridor. Enormous boulders, which simply need to be climbed, allow for (optional) jumps into the clear water of the Verdon.
We arrive at the immense vault of the Baume aux Pigeons, where we will pause to enjoy the magnificent landscape before us. A few surprises await us in a true maze of tormented rock formations, named the Labyrinths.
After further (non-compulsory) jumps and sections of rapids, we will reach the end of the Samson gorge. Finally, we will climb the bank to reach the Martel path, which we will take for the return journey. We will then need to cross the tunnels, the story of which we will tell you.
We reach the Samson Corridor viewpoint after about a 20-minute walk.
Return by mini-bus to Castellane.
