Description
The ideal route to discover the joys of canyoning!
Welcome participants by canyoning guides and handover of equipment. approach walk (30 mins) through a pretty pine forest provides access to the Jabron canyon.
The activity begins with an introduction to rappelling techniques by the guide.
We enter the Jabron canyon by walking along its bed at first. To descend into the canyon itself, we will perform a short, easy 5-metre abseil.
Next, a narrow parade awaits us, a slide down a toboggan (the «Gunboat»), a passage through a cat flap, more toboggans, various jumps into basins (more or less high for the more or less courageous)...
If you fancy it, you can redo certain workshops (recalls, jumps, etc.), or test your new knowledge on a 15m recall ending in a »spider's web» (suspended in the air), and even sample a few surprises from the guide!
The less adventurous can make do with the classic route, but it's highly likely that they too will acquire a taste for the many possibilities this canyon offers.
All that remains for us to do then is to walk back (40 mins) to find the starting point.
The jumps and slides are not mandatory and can be descended by abseiling.
The Jabron is a short, but spectacular canyon that allows you to discover all aspects of the activity.
