Course of events
of the activity
The Gours du Ray canyon is accessible to everyone and very complete. With family or friends, it allows everyone to challenge themselves as they wish.
Meet at 9:30 AM or 2:00 PM in Gréolières, in the village centre, at the Faïsse car park.See access plan).
Welcome of participants by the canyoning guides and equipment handover, followed by a safety briefing (10 mins).
After a 10-minute approach walk through a pretty pine forest, the activity begins with an introduction to the environment and an initiation to rappelling techniques.
Located in the upper Loup valley, this canyon will allow you to discover superb natural pools where you can jump as much as you like! The bravest can therefore attempt an 8-metre jump!
Next, you will descend (2 hours of descent) through this pretty canyon, alternating between jumps, swimming in clear water, and walking along the banks.
A few slides (including 2 guided slides) will also punctuate your descent in this beautiful green environment.
You will finally rejoin the starting car park by following a pleasant path through the forest.

- The activity is dependent on weather conditions. In the event of rain, the water level in the canyon can rise rapidly. Therefore, ABOARD Rafting reserves the right to cancel trips due to adverse weather.
