The ideal craft for paddle adventurers!

A two-person inflatable craft, the cano-raft is manoeuvred with a double-bladed paddle by the two crew members, independently. The inflated structure of the cano-raft and its self-bailing floor allow novices, accompanied by a guide ensuring their safety, to tackle whitewater without technical skill.

The crew, made up of 2 participants, manoeuvre the boat to follow the route indicated by the guide who accompanies them in their own craft.

The safety instructions given by the guide before departure allow you to anticipate any fall into the water. In the event of capsizing, simply climb back into the inflatable canoe, and you're off again!

When is the best time to go canorafting in the Verdon?
From April to October

The flow of the Middle Verdon is regulated by water releases from the EDF dam.

In spring (April to June), water releases from the Castillon dam take place regularly, making it possible to navigate downstream of Castellane. If no water is being released at this time of year, we recommend paddling upstream of the dam on the Upper Verdon (in the Fontgaillarde Gorges), a section of the river fed by spring snowmelt. These routes are located about 30 minutes from Castellane.

In summer (July and August), water releases on the middle Verdon are scheduled only on certain days (On Tuesdays and Fridays usually) and allow navigation of this section. On the other hand, the upper Verdon routes are not navigable in the summer, as the natural flow becomes insufficient.

In autumn (from mid-September), the frequency of water releases is regular again and allows navigation on the middle Verdon.

The inflatable kayak for solo paddling!

The Air-Boat is much more than just a water activity; it's a sporting adventure that allows you to tackle the rapids and experience the thrill of the whitewater of the Verdon Gorges.

An inflatable single-seater craft, the air-boat is propelled independently using a double-bladed paddle. Its inflated structure and self-draining hull provide it with stability and forgiveness, enabling beginners to tackle white water without any technical skills.

A system of straps allows the paddler to sit comfortably in their boat, without the constraints of sitting inside it, as is the case with a conventional kayak.

This boat offers the same gliding sensation as a white-water kayak, with fantastic opportunities for fun, without the drawbacks associated with capsizing in a rigid kayak. With an air-boat, if you capsize, you simply climb back in, and off you go again!

The guide accompanies you in your own boat and indicates the route to follow, while giving tips for your first surfs!
