Description
The perfect route to discover the joys of rafting, with friends or family!
Inflatable and stable, paddled by all crew members, the raft allows you to tackle white water without technical skill, thanks to the presence of a guide on board.
The crew, comprising up to 8 participants, follows the guide's instructions to manoeuvre the boat.
Meet at 9:30 am (and 11:30 am, 1:30 pm in summer) at our «Adventure Forest» base»
Welcome participants by the ABOARD Rafting guides, followed by equipment handout and briefing for a raft descent of the Verdon, from «Adventure Forest» to Pinède beach, approximately 8 km and 1.5 hours of navigation.
The first part is easy; it allows for a gentle introduction to handling the raft. Then, we navigate rapids of increasing difficulty, culminating in the famous Barre St. Jean (Class III rapid: moderate difficulty), the highlight of this descent.
Once this rapid crossing is complete, we will join the Pinède beach, the finishing point of this descent.
After de-kitting, we will return to our base «Adventure Forest» by bus.
